La Perruque is a short film made entirely out of commercial stock footage purchased online. It tells the tale of an office worker who is secretly trying to write a novel during work hours. The title refers to a French expression that means “wearing the wig”. This phrase is used to describe a situation of secretly working on personal projects during work time, such as writing a private email or photocopying unrelated material.
